i did, with a ms who said we had to keep our relationship on the down low 'cause he was being considered for the big e and he didn't want the brothers and the c.o to quesiton his personal life, now that's code for 'i don't want the elders to know i'm making out on non-meeting nights!

With non dubs all I'd say is "my parents are religious freaks" so it wasn't a problem. With dubs it was just play around and we all knew enough to be quiet.

A lesson for those who are thinking about being home schooled.

i have recently found out that my highschool diploma is no good.. so, now i'm enrolled in a ged course so i can have that to get into the program.

the problem is, they can't hold my position, they have to give it to someone else.

i can reapply next year, but who know's if there will be any positions open then.. this is so humiliating and embarassing, i'm 34 and i find out from someone else my diploma is no good, worse yet, i have to get a ged.

My parents were so proud that I finished my homeschool highschool in two years that they signed me up for the full time ministry. Lucky me. When I made the break at 18 I found out how worthless my dimploma was. California has the junior colleges and that's helped a lot.

Mom and Dad are having a tougher time keeping me away from those worldly guys now.

in one post, i said:one possible reason that both native americans and blacks (then slaves) were treated so badly for so long is that both largely sided with the british in the war of independence.

i guess countries have some kind of giant collective consciousness that takes a while to change.. .

please remove me from this site, i am tired of the sarcasm and the insults simply because i choose to believe in god after leaving the borg.

i am beginning to believe that the borg was a better place than this site because i never once endured what i have had to endure here with certain individuals.

it seems that it is ok for some to criticize others here but when you stand up for what you believe in the shit just gets deeper.

Yes this site is all about being an ex dub.

Does the owner have an obsession about America or something??? At least he does his best to make Americans feel welcome.
